As a lacquerista for the past 20 years, I've been using natural skin and hand care to protect my skin and nails from dry and cold Canadian weather, wetness from water, and the harshness of products like acetone and cuticle remover. I created this cuticle balm for myself about 3 years ago because I like the solidity of a cuticle butter, but love the penetrating abilities of jojoba oil for the health of my nails. It's about time I shared it with other lovers of nail-related hobbies!

This 3 ingredient cuticle butter is primarily made of jojoba oil - jojoba oil is molecularly similar to human sebum, and is able to penetrate the nail plate and reach the nail bed. Shea butter adds a touch of softness with its natural vitamin E, and beeswax helps to create a protective barrier against water and other environmental conditions.
