The closer to home I can find my ingredients, the better I feel about making my products. That's why finding Mat's Fine Oils for Hemp oil and Sunflower oil was such a welcome addition to By Bhumika soaps, hair, and body oils. By Bhumika Inc and Mat's Fine Oils are both businesses out of Ontario. 

Mat's Fine Oils is a "self sufficient organic mixed farm" as per their own description. They sell pressed oils to financially supplement their self-sufficiency; as (unfortunately) some needs can't be grown! Oils are pressed at varying times throughout the year, and they're pressed based on needs and orders - this means that customers like us here at By Bhumika Inc are getting the freshest oils. This is incredibly important with hemp oil as it's a pretty finicky oil!

We use hemp oil in our French Green Clay and Hemp soap, our Kusum Hair Oil, our Urmila Body Oil, and our Kalpana Abhyanga Massage Oil. Hemp Oil has a comedogenic rating of 0, which means that its non-comedogenic, and doesn't clog pores. How's that for a power house oil?

Mat's fine Sunflower oil is in our Kalpana Abhyanga Massage Oil, and helps round out our tridoshic massage oil blend. It's a light and neutral oil which helps protect the skin's moisture barrier.
